They made SO MUCH Mario stuff O_O I was shocked. Bedspread, rug, wall clock, wall paper, alarm clock, pillowcase, trashcan, telephone and so much more! Seriously, I'm gonna deck out my bedroom in Mario stuff. You just watch me. I'm getting the curtains or beach towel first. EBAY AHOY!


Anyway, aside from my fanatic obsession with Mario merchandise (did you know they have Mario RPG trading cards!?), I'm STILL working on your requests. Finals are this week so I will post most of them after them, sorry for the long wait >_> As a side-note I must insist that you DO NOT WHINE if you think I didn't make yours look like someone else's! (Like one gets Comic-style artwork and another gets pastel-style) Do you know how much a pain in the ass it is to do nice line-art!? so DON'T COMPLAIN.

On the other hand, if your really do not like the picture you receive, please note me and we will work something out but if you were vague that's your problem. I'm working very hard on these and I just want to stress that. I'm trying to make these special but I do make mistakes.

So if you want yours a specific way, HURRY AND TELL ME BY THE 4th! If you don't tell me what style, I will assume you don't care either way. (Also, pastel-style (found in "Across the Sands" takes more time on the computer so keep that in mind).

Positives:
Super Paper Mario has got to be one of the best games I have ever played. Pure and simple. Why? Though the game reminds me of Super Mario RPG: LoSS in many different ways, it stands by itself with its wide variety of environments, challenges, and characters. The characters, even the "flat" characters, were well-developed enough that just a few sentences were enough to paint a very detailed picture and made it easy for me to identify with each. I wanted to save them from utter destruction.

Another wonderful element featured in Super Paper Mario was the fantasy aspect. Though this is a Mario game, there was an impossible, yet realistic and believable storyline that a player can get sucked into really quickly. I honestly hadn't felt this way about any other game since Super Mario RPG. Bleck's Castle (the final dungeon in SPM) can easily be compared with the Weapon's Factory (the final dungeon is SMRPG), them both having very similar aspects.

Oh, I forgot to mention the amount of both comedy and horror in Super Paper Mario can also be compared with the presence of both in Super Mario RPG. In both games, I found myself laughing one moment, then crying the next, then laughing again. I like how characters will blurt something funny in the most dire situation, like when Bowser and O'Chunks had an argument about who was the most powerful even though the castle was falling around them.

However, thought the comedy lightened the mood for a short time, the seriousness of the situation is clear. In World Six, at first there is a comical battle between Mario and several warriors, but not a moment later the entire world collapses into a white void with nothing but a few outlines left.


I have to say THE BOSSES IN THIS GAME SCARED THE F*CK OUT OF ME, like Mimi. At first I was like "oh, how cute. A little girl is gonna battle me." BUT THEN HER HEAD FLIPPED UPSIDE DOWN AND SHE TURNED INTO A GIANT SPIDER AND CHASED ME AROUND!!!

And I thought Mimi was bad. THE FINAL BOSS BLEW MY MIND I don't want to give him way, and if you haven't played he isn't who you think. A good (er, is that the word for it?) picture can be found here: [link] Near the bottom. Look at your own risk. Seriously, I had trouble battling him at first he freaked me out so bad. He is the best boss in my opinion. (Not the hardest, that would be the giant spider on Pikmin 2)

But the battle is well worth it. The ending is the best one I have ever seen. Better than Mario RPG by a landslide.



Negatives
To be honest, the only real thing I had trouble with was the flipping between 2D and 3D turning me ill all the time. I often got headaches until I got used to it. (I did not deduct points for that)

An item limit is the worst problem. And money tends to be tight and the items over-priced. But it wasn't too hard to cope with it. Some of the areas are REALLY FREAKING DRAWN OUT. World 7 is the worst in my opinion, being too dang long. However, the game is rather short (minus the pit of a 100 trials) at only 25hrs to complete. All these were made up by the final boss and ending for the most part.
